• "We had two companies come in the same day, Orkin in the Morning and another in the afternoon. Brian, with Orkin, did a 2 hour inspection of our Home. He then came in and showed us his findings, including several pictures from our Crawl Space. In these photos he showed us photos of Termite Runs and had broken some open and found active Termites. I have been in our Crawl Space and these pictures were from our home. Brian was extremely professional in everything he did and he honored my wish to give us time without calling to make our decision. That afternoon the person from the other company came, was an hour late without calling and did an inspection that lasted less than a half hour. He came in and told us he found no signs of active Termites, but felt we still needed to be treated due to us having had a swarm.Though the afternoon company was somewhat cheaper we did choose Orkin to do the work because we felt more comfortable with their level of professionalism. I did go into our Crawl Space the next Weekend and without any problem, found the activity that Orkin had told us about.We did sign a contract with Orking and the work was completed on April 25, 2012. The man who came that day was just as professional as the extimator. He went over everything that was to be done and what he needed from me. He ask if I had any questions and seemed willing to answer anything I had for as long as I needed. We have signed a yearly contract with Orkin to do follow up treatments as we do not want the Termites to return."

• "This company seems to think the customer is their convenience. They send out a notice stating that the service will be on such and such a date. The company leaves it up to the technician to contact the customer to arrange the time for service. I have had difficulty getting the current technician to call on the notice's date. I finally called them on the 22nd because I hadn't been notified yet, and they put me off, rather rudely I feel, and said that the technician would contact me the day before. He finally contacted me on the 22nd and said he would be out the 23rd, well that wasn't satisfactory to me as I had plans, he didn't state a date he could be out, he stated what when he showed an opening in his schedule he'd call me again. Which has always been the case, but the technician doesn't seem to feel the need to go by the notice's scheduled date. I have arranged days off, or rearranged appointments to meet the company's scheduled date, to have no one call me, or show up. I am very upset with this company and desire one that considers their customer important enough to meet appointments."
