My Mom and I were having major issues with ants and I called Orkin to schedule an appointment. Not only did they give me a great deal on both services, they were willing to come out the same day (if you call before 2 pm). It was on Thursday and I set up the appointment for Monday. There were some issues in the scheduling do to lack of communication between the receptionist and the field tech, however, Ronald made up for that minor mishap. When I called to confirm my appt, the 2nd time I was transferred over to the speak with the technician who immediately apologized for the mishap and who informed me that he would be on his way. His name is Ronald Girouard, an angel and a such a respectful and loyal employee! He arrived about 30-45 minutes later and upon arriving, he introduced himself and began to ask us questions about the ant issue. He explained what he would do to repel and rid our homes and property of ants and then he asked questions about any allergies, pets, etc. After the formalities, he went to work immediately. My Mom was especially impressed with his uniform and his neat appearance and she felt bad that he'd have to get dirty. He assured her that his outer attire was not a factor whatsoever on what he was about to do and he went to work. We were in shock when just a few minutes after her began dusting the inside of her home, there was not an ant in sight. I went outside and again, there was not an ant in sight. It has been 3 days since he came to exterminate for us and still, we do not see any ants. More than that, Ronald was very enduring and compassionate with my elderly Mom and he explained how much he loved his job and how much he valued assisting the customers. His job performance and customer service skills were beyond perfect. As customers, it made our day that someone was so trustworthy, professional, and excellent at their job cared out us. We felt like more than just doing his job, Ronald cares. Today, it's really hard to find employees who actually care about the customers. He maintained professionalism and he was also very friendly. I am so happy I called Orkin and I am more happy that I was able to have this issue taken care of since my Mother is a diabetic and we were afraid that ants would bite her. I am very pleased with Orkin's services but most importantly, I am impressed with the customer service and professionalism of Mr. Ronald Girouard in Scott, LA. I encourage each and everyone of you who has ants (in the interior or the exterior) to call them immediately! I was very reluctant with all the different local companies who are available, however, I am glad GOD led me to Orkin.
