• "arm of flying insects on my front porch, they looked like termites, so I contacted local exterminators for inspections/estimates. The first local exterminator came to the house and saw the insects still crawling around on the side of the porch, and apparently agreed they were termites, because he gave me an estimate of $1,200 to get rid of them. Then, the next day, an Orkin rep comes out and I show him the same crawling bugs . . . and he immediately says, "Oh, those are just citronella ants. You don't see termite workers above ground." I thanked him for the visit and checked online. Sure enough, they were citronella ants and not termites. Really appreciate Orkin's honesty and know who I will call next time I need pest extermination!"

• "The guy who came out was very friendly and knowledgeable. I just rented a house, was doing a pre cleaning before moving our stuff in and there was so many mouse droppings in the kitchen cabinets, oven, and dining room shelves. I immediately contacted this place and told the landlord that this isn’t my job to pay for it and she agreed to get it handled. He inspected all those areas including the basement and put 100 traps all over the house. I have been back several times to see if anything has been caught but haven’t seen one yet. The tech said someone is coming back next week to follow-up and do another check for free and they will come bimonthly to check on things and keep the situation at bay. I don’t think the upfront cost was too high. Originally it was 194.50 but the rep on the phone gave me some coupon for 50.00 off so it was cheaper than originally quoted. I believe the monthly price is 54.00 which doesn’t seem horrible. Im not paying for it so maybe thats why it doesn’t seem bad to me. He did mention a spray that can be put around the outside of the house if they still seem to be getting in which I believe he said is 60.00. Overall the service was good, tech was on time, and he seemed very knowledgeable."
