• "Overall, the people here are nice. However, they tried installing an aluminum door sweep which is defective. The rubber seal doesn’t come down all the way in the middle. I’ve tried calling numerous times even speaking with a manger who said they would have someone come back out and take a look which they never did. This was about 3 weeks ago now. No one has returned any of my calls and no one has come out for a follow up. Overall terrible customer service. It’s almost as if they’re just writing this off. Kinda crazy the lack of communication and follow up with this company. Long story short do not let Orkin touch your garage door. Tried calling today and nobody answered. I guess I’m Just going to have to cancel the payment and do this myself. This is a follow up review from my previous review. Orkin got in contact with me about my problem and they couldn’t have been more nice. They came back out the day after I posted my previous review and completely fixed the issue. What was different in 2011. As I write this report, the roof (April 14, 2011) and siding (now) are being repalce. As such, the constant pounding and the 4" of rain this month seems to increase the ants activity. Orkin to the recsue. Bill is our technician. He is personable, knowledgeable and always punctual. Bill expains what he is doing and why. FYI...If you have a pet(s), I suggest putting them in their cage/pin or keep an eye on them until the solution dries. Bill uses a powder mix as well. 2010, we were on the bi-monthly extermination plan (6-treatments) for the same price. After the second treatment, we did not see any ants or any other bug inside the house. Exceptional servive...and It WORKS :=)"
