• "I made a mistake in thinking that Steve was coming between 7 and 8 am. I thought it was 8-10. We never heard him knock on the door or ring the bell this last Wed., and my cell had the volume turned down by mistake. So we totally missed him. He said he thought he rang the bell. Yesterday he came on time, then sat in his vehicle in the driveway. We opened the garage door finally to encourage him to come in. He did. My general impression is that he is not as knowledgable about pests as previous Orkin men. I have no idea what he does when he’s here, but he’s not spraying or anything like your other men did. Maybe it’s just not that time of year! He does not seem as “ in control” or confident in what he’s doing. Both my husband and I would prefer not to have an early morning time slot. We get up around 7:30 am. Later in the day works better. We are both retired.Neither of us slept well the night before he came because we were worried about missing him again!!!
