Eliminate Pests in West Islip, NY

• "I’ve had a termite contract with Orkin for 15 years now. I had left Terminix due to a ‘preventable’ bad experience. I never looked back, everyone that I have dealt with at Orkin has been knowledgeable and pleasant. Yesterday Yves Jean did the yearly inspection on my home. He was professional, intelligent and reassuring. The Orkin reps always explain what they’re doing and why. I would recommend them to anyone who owns a home."

• "We contacted Orkin because we were extremely unsatisfied with our previous provider of pest control. We were looking for a company that was more proactive in pest prevention as much as control. Orkin made a very good first impression with a very thorough assessment of the house and set traps (individual snap traps, glue traps and tin cats) For the most part they have been punctual for their appointments however they did miss one and then inform us that we would have to wait a week to reschedule (I was not happy.) We have been consistently catching 1-2 mice over the course of the 3 months intervals between service. They have identified entry points into the house that I subsequently sealed however we were still having persistent problems. They scheduled someone to come and look at the crawl space under the family room to try and identify where the mice might be gaining entry which I really appreciated they then sealed a hole that they had found. Net net is we have stuck with them and things seem to be improving after they sealed the crawl space, but this time of year is the true test so the jury is still out."

• "Shakiel came to my apartment for the first time to treat a roach infestation and did an extremely professional and thorough job. He definitely knows enough to be able to effectively get rid of our problem. So glad I called Orkin"

• "Both Orkin's representatives, Ben & Shawn, were very personable, polite and professionally represented the company on each of their visits. During the termite treatment, my husband had a medical episode and Shawn did not hesitate to assist me with getting my husband inside the house, seated and calling 911. Without his assistance I would not have been able to manage husband on my own. May all your representatives be as thoughtful and kind."

• "We had a great experience with Orkin from start to finish. Scheduling the appointment was easy, and both customer service reps I spoke with were kind, courteous, and professional. I even accidentally got disconnected during the first call, and when I called back the next representative was just as helpful. I didn’t have my credit card handy at the time, and they reassured me it was no problem—my appointment was still scheduled, and they gave me flexible options to call back later or handle payment when the technician arrived. Michael Galford was the Orkin professional who came to our home for the inspection, and we were extremely satisfied with him. He was prompt, professional, courteous, and very thorough—no shortcuts. He was well-groomed, well-dressed, friendly, and purposeful in everything he did. Overall, a smooth, trouble-free experience, and I really appreciate Michael’s excellent service. I would absolutely recommend Orkin, and especially Michael Galford."
